Very good comedy series. One of the best. I especially like how protect yourself against someone armed with fresh fruit, and Monty Python and The Meaning of Life.

If anybody is curious about the series, the movies are on Crackle on the XBOX 360.

oh its not a series, its the group who made them. the show was called "the montey python flying circus". too bad that allot of the episodes were deleted by BBC to save tapes...

ther movies are so funny too. start with "montey python adn the holy grail" {the funniest version of 'king arthur' you will ever see}, then go to "the life of brian" {you can call it a parody on jesus, but its a story about a man, who lived in the time of jesus. he is not a prophet}. and later, "the meaning of life" {it dosnet have a plot. more, 'deep' movie'}.

and for all of you who think "well, this isnt funny\\it was obvius", its because they invented most of these jokes. you can qalmost say that they invented the fantasy/comedy movies. you will see that alot of the modern comedies have reference to them.

The show is hit and miss for me. Some episodes are really funny but others I don't find funny at all.

Now the movies are great. I have seen The Holy Grail way to many times and I have seen Life of Brian. Both were really good and funny.

I agree with daleks on the episodes... But they are a personal favorite. Watch The Lawyers Cut and you learn alot. I love The Meaning Of Life.

You know what's a painfully underrated movie?

Monty Python's The Meaning of Life.

It gets overshadowed by the more conventionally funny Life of Brian and Holy Grail, but it's every bit as witty and smart, and far deeper. You can't watch it too many times.

NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!!! In my opinion, their best act ever, even though it's not a movie.

Holy Grail is not only one of the best Python movies, but one of the most well known.

My favrite secondary character: Black Knight.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is my favourite Monty Python film. I especially like the part when they try to enter the cave and get mauled by the rabbit and have to kill it with the Holy Hand Grenade, espeically as I had seen the weapon before on the 'worms' games.
And the part when they are chased by the other cave monster who dies when the animator dies of a heart attack.

One of my favorite parts in the legacy of Monty Python is: We are the knights who say NI!

It's completely in style of all that Monty Python stands for, good old corny humor that -when in the zone- makes you laugh untill you wet yourself! Heheheh... =)

'Tis but a scratch.

I meant to refer to the group. And I know, I have every flying circus and movie on disc.

Black Knight: It's just a scratch.
Arthur: A scratch, your whole arm is off.
Black Knight: I've had worse.

this fight scene, best fight scene ever in movie, also the evil rabbit that chopped the guy's head off looked cute.

Everybody always references the Black Knight scene. Yeah, it was funny until you saw all the stupid references people use it for. My personal favorite is
"'ey, look! 'e must be a king!"
"Why'd ya say that?"
"'ecause 'e 'asn't got shi' all over 'im."

i think the french taunting part is 1 of the best parts.

knight: "is there someone els up there we can talk to?"
French: "no, now go away or i shall taunt you a seccond time!"

or the annoying peasant scene.

That whole scene was absolutely hilarious "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries! -epic sticking out of tongue-" xD

But I also very much enjoyed And Now for Something Completely Different, an amazing compilation.
