I tear off part of my cloak and wrap it around the end of my arrow. I strike the steel tip against the flint of the cave lighting the cloth and i fire at the monster

Since the moster is about 50 miles away,you use an arrow to get the oil in it,then shoot another flaming arrow into it,it then blows up and returns to a ball of aura.As a villager girl picks it up,it sinks into her body,then her eyes change,and she gains supernatural powers!
