I need a a creative kick start for my novel, so I am forming an RPG that takes place within the world of said novel.

Backstory: Conflict grips the continent of Eurwa. The forces of the Kaelitine Empire march forth to subdue the minor kingdoms of Roit, Ansurim, Cirion, Redinia, Frelenda and Kildum. However, such grand political schemes are far from the minds of a group of five hopeful treasure hunters. for rumors are abound that an ancient temple dedicated to Kurlad, God of Shadows has been found within the Werelite Mountains, far to the north-east.

Currently situated in the port city of Bolt, capital of Frelenda the group of treasure hunters must first book passage to the mainland, as Frenlenda is an island kingdom off the coast of Kildum. Once there the group will need to cross the war torn continent as best they can, hopefully avoiding the clashing forces of the Empire, and those of the minor kingdoms which strive to protect their soveriengnty. Yet, do not expect mortal enemies alone, for the gods are always on the watch for pawns to further their ends.

Classes:

Assassin:

The shadows and darkness are your home. You are proficient with both daggers and bows. As an assassin you are also well acquainted with the cunning use of poisons. However, you are weak in melee combat and cannot wear heavy armor.

+1 intellect
-2 strength

Gear: 2x iron dagger, short bow, leather armor, 50 gold

Warrior:

Skilled with a variety of weapons and armors you live for battle. A warrior must be both strong and quick to avoid certain death in close combat. Warriors are also capable users of bows. However, due to a life time of physical training you lack a strong education and are susceptible to magic.

+2 strength
-3 intellect
+1 dexterity
+1 vitality

Gear: iron sword, iron armor, 100 gold

Sorcerer:

Scholarship and the mysteries of the past are a sorcerers best friends in life. The taming of elemental magics and the workings of the mind have left you to be an unstable force when unleashed. However, you lack strength of arms and cannot survive in melee. You are also unable to wear any armor aside from clothing and robes.

-2 strength
+4 intellect
-1 vitality

Gear: Elemental Tome, robes, 100g

Wanderer:

You are an enigma. You lack any true disadvantage in combat, yet you also have no advantage in any one area. While fortune smiles upon you, it is also your worst enemy.

Gear: 1 iron sword, leather armor, 150 gold

Rules:

Players will outline an action that they wish to do. If it is a simple action, such a moving somewhere, talking ect it will automatically succeed (unless otherwise noted). Any attacks, dodges, persuasions, or event will be decided by a random number generator ranging from 1-20. Anything that falls bellow 10 is considered a failled action to a varied degree, 10 is a stalemate, and anything above 10 is a success to a varied degree.

The base number for all stats is 10.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I would like a short Background of your character. Please place it underneath your Vitality stat. No more than about 6-7 sentences long.

Background:Ravaora was born to a rich family. She took a shine sneaking around and all of the other skills that an assassin needs. These skills came in handy when Ravaora wanted to visit her friends who were poor or animals that lived in the forest near by the town her parents lived in. When Ravaora was twelve she brought some of the forest with her birthday money. She had a house built there and moved into it when she turned 18. She then used her skills and money to keep her friends in places that were decent. A month after Ravaora's 23rd birthday she heard of a temple being found. She plans to find it and use the treasures in it to help keep her friends safe from the armies that might go for the island kingdoms once they are done with the mainland.

Background:Jafaar grew up in a mystery kingdom. In other words no one knows where he came from. All they know is that one day he appeared on the beach with nothing except robes and a tome. He worked his way through the social classes and now he is somewhat respected. People are still scared of them for his appearance.

First off the picture should be online. You right click the picture and go down to properties. It will open to the box with all the info. Where it says URL copy that address. You go back here and click the image button. It will ask for that url. Just past it and post. That should get your picture up

Okay, thanks for that. I'll try and get the map up ASAP if I can. Just know that it's a rough draft, but I doubt that will affect us in any real way... Ramble done!

Why can't there be only four people? I mean that eventually the game will get more players and it would work well with a novel having characters come later.
