In the year of time and peace, everyone was living in harmony. In fact, the world became one, with no countries anywhere. Previously, there was a war. A war between Earth and another unknown planet named Jorge. The war lasted for a millennium but no sides won. The leader of Earth, Gerth, fought with passion. Jorge was losing but Gerth had a truce to stop all of this and convinced them that the war was useless.
Now, in 3050, the technology and development for both planets were growing at a fast pace. Both of them were living together, transporting equipment for one another and visitors traveling to each of them. But no one had super powers like before anymore.
And they had even mined asteroids for fuel and ships travel further and further away from the galaxy to search for more.
One day, a miner came across a floating purple crystal. He boosted towards it and took an inspecting machine and scanned it. The machine said it was unknown. The miner took his chances and took out his mining tool, a laser cutter and touched it with the cutter.
The purple crystal exploded and purple light incinerated the miner. The light was so intense, it reached throughout The Milky Way. Every living being was shrouded in the light. The light contained mutated cells that entered all sorts of people from politicians to madmen. Plus, the light is constantly dispersing, being it unable for any living being to be uninfected. The mutated cells also opened portals at random distances and places. Some appeared in oceans and on buildings taller than Burj Khalifa. The portals lead to dangerous dungeons but have the key core to making the mutated cells stronger, supporting both the human bodies and brain.
The purple crystal was made by the remains of Azure, a goddess. She was destroyed by Gerth himself, since he found that Azure was causing the war.
When the crystal exploded, a voice booms throughout The Milky Way.
"SURVIVE!"
Earth and Jorge were in ruins. The portals sucked in anything that surrounded them, especially the oceans. They were what made Jorge and Earth chaotic planets.
Luckily, you did not stand near those portals.
Enemies of all kinds, monsters and humans alike, target those with little power and you have to survive or even stop the light from dispersing through a secret way.

For TL;DR people:
A miner came across a purple crystal and tried to gather its resources but got killed. The crystal exploded and light dispersed throughout The Milky Way. The light mutated every living being to gain super powers. You have to survive or stop the light from dispersing using a secret way. Challenge comes your way.

The fire ball did fly up you say im in a forest you say then the fire ball surely did catch the forest on fire and fire emits light.

I boost myself up at the speed of light and i gather all the photons that i can to crate a giant laser to finish him before he gets the chance to explode.

You run towards the crystal. With your muffled footsteps, you got past all the spiders and you see the man looking around, just nearby the crystal.

What will you do about the man?

I sneak all the way up to the crystal, staying invisible, and grab it. If I don't immediately leave this place, I sneak up behind the man with my sword drawn and point it at him, and ask why I haven't left yet.

You get med-kits just in case. And go to the remains of Asia. When you enter the portal, you see a hospital.

"Sir, I do not know the strategy points, as we have not explored this portal yet. Since, it is only a one-way portal."

Tom leads, with you following. You see a dead body in this hospital. Then something touched your back. It's the undead!

crap. now i have to find another crystal to get back to earth to collect the other crystals...anyway, i decapitate the zombies (they are zombies, right?) with my blade-arms. i hope that my NP decrease even when i kill undead enemies...

and if the dead body is too far away for me to reach it: tom attacks the dead body by piercing it with the metal cables/rods that are in the wands and in the ground.

i need a way to get a metal manipulator as an ally after i turned into a good guy/anti-hero...but first i want to get my memory back. lets see how far this story goes...

They charge at you and tried to kill you, but they disappeared one centimetre in front of you.

This new system is called Nightmare Points. The more nightmare points you have, the more chances you'll be killed like just now AND your powers will grow weaker. So, in order to deplete your nightmare points, you'll need to kill.

The only difference when dying to nightmares and dying to other people is that when you die to other people, your character will lose XP and all of your inventory stuff. You will not lose your character sheet. But, when you die to your nightmares, your character sheet is lost, immediately. And that's why people aim to kill other people on Earth.

You see a restaurant and your stomach vibrated by a little.

That's basically it. For now. Some portals will not contain any crystals. It'll be a surprise for the highest-leveled person here. Viet Anh and Xas are currently the strongest. Maybe you will have it too.

You slash away at the neck of the undead. Yes, you decrease nightmare points from them, but only one point instead of a ten.

Hmmm. Interesting new feature.
I walk up to the restaurant and peer through some windows invisibly before I walk in. If it looks dangerous, I'll pass it by, but if it looks safe, I will become visible and walk inside.

and if the dead body is too far away for me to reach it: tom attacks the dead body by piercing it with the metal cables/rods that are in the wands and in the ground.

anyway, i shift into a metall-human so they can not infect me by biting. then i shift my legs, who are still made out of metal, into cheeta-human-legs so i am fast enough to dodge their tries to attack me. now, after all that changing, i start to hack and slay through the zombies. if they try to attack tom then he will defend himself. i mean, even if there is no metall on the ground then there is metall in the walls and in the ground.

do i have to comand tom or can i just type that he does something like above?

A purple feather touches the ground and a portal opened up. Like the OP, the portal sucked you inside.

You land hard on the purple ground. A gorilla sees you and goes aggresive on you, smacking you with super-strength if it is near you.

I get to my feet, (Ah crag, if that ape hit me I'm a goner, if only I can talk to it in animal language.) I thought to my self.

(My wolf and raven forms might be good choice here)
