Bob hates his job. One day, while Bob is working on the 34th floor of an office building, he decides he's fed up with it. He rips open a window, and jumps through it. If so, I have the solution: Cut it three times...into 1/7, 2/7 and 4/7. Day 1: give him the 1/7. 1/7 Day 2: take back the 1/7 and give him the 2/7. 2/7 Day 3: give him the 1/7 again. 3/7 Day 4: take back both of them and give him the 4/7. 4/7 Day 5: give him the 1/7. 5/7 Day 6: take back the 1/7 and give him the 2/7. 6/7 Day 7: give him the 1/7 again. 7/7
Matt takes Amy to a wonderful, classy resteraunt. He has eaten here several times and loves the food. They each have a good time, until, halfway through the meal, Amy throws up. She gets very ill and has to leave the room. Several other people in the resteraunt get sick as well. Nothing was wrong with the food, nor with Amy or anyone else. In fact, she thought it was delicious. She hadn't had an allergic reaction and had no illness before coming here. On top of that, Matt wasn't particularly surprised. Why not?
