On your way back to the barracks you have a runin with some of the veteran soldiers. These guys fought in the Arluian war and are battle hardened and mean to anyone outside of their ranks, ESPECIALLY newcomers. They snicker at you and push you around, insulting you and calling you coward and weak. They bet you that you can't, during your night shift, go out of the town into the forest and kill one of the wild boars out there that have been killing civilians. They then push you out of their way and shout back at you that if you do it, they will guarantee you a promotion. (+10 money, +1 endurance, -5 hunger)

You head off to patrol duty and do your walkaround until you can see that no other guards are in sight. Then you sneak over the wall and off into the forest. After a few hours of tracking, you manage to find a wild boar in a clearing. Its a tough fight, but you finally manage to kill it and take its ear as proof. When you get back, you pick back up your route and continue on... (+10 money, +2 endurance, +2 strength, -25 Hp, -5 hunger)

After completing your route you go back to the barracks. When you get back the captain is waiting for you. He calls in other guards and places you under arrest for theft and the murder of three innocent storekeepers in a the marketplace a few blocks down. When you ask why he knows it was you, he responds that three of his veteran soldiers produced proof that you were not at your route during 12-3:00 and that is the approximate time of the crime. You curse under your breath.. "i've been framed!" you think... ( -5 hunger)

*ok a few things* 1. Its 11:00 and i have been doing these things all day so i hav forgot to add money to your char sheet (you start with 50). 2. The old couple is letting you stay there free of charge as they are nice and they figure their time is short anyway, so why worry about money.

It seems that the man heard your comment as well as you can clearly see his devastated face underneath his shady hat. He has obviously had enough as he starts walking toward you in an aggressive manner... (meat still had some blood left on it from recent killing, -30% bloodlust). (-10 money).

When you say he is fast, you're not kidding. The kid is nearly able to outrun you several times throughout the chace and a few times you even lose him for a few seconds. fortunately, he eventually comes upon a dead end. He has nowhere to run, and you can almost feel him panic although you cannot see it on his face... (+2 Agility) (+1 Endurance) (-5 hunger)
