The year is 2500 AD, and Earth's surface is inhospitable, humans have fled to either hovercities, tyrannical cities ruled by fat aristocrats, or to deep space, where they survive in odd ways. These 2 places seemed as if they would never come together,as the last frontier and the limited cities could not be more different. that soon changed, on April 30th, 2500 AD, miners found a new metal, element 143 in the periodic table, that was found capable of producing incredible energy, 1 tablespoon of its powder produced energy equivalent to that of 1 barrel of oil. Suddenly miners from the most unlikely places came to the distant planets in search of element 143. You are a miner, from somewhere, who is seeking their fortune, will you become a rich, famous miner, or die a terrible death in the dangerous pits, caves, or mines?
This is my first attempt at an RPG on these forums.
Character sheet
Name: Age: Species (we do allow non-humans,but please don't go overboard with your species): Funds:500 credits Weapons: Equipment:All purpose laser X-act knife(1-3 dmg if used in combat) , Roticary laser (works like a drill)(1-2 dmg. in combat) , Pickaxe(1-3 dmg. in combat) . Armor/Suit:Spacesuit (absorbs no damage, no defense bonus) Level: 1 (0/5 XP) Health:40 Bio(I don't need a 50 page essay, just enough to determine how your character acts, and why they EXACTLY came to the frontier):
You may notice that you have no weapons or good armor to start, you must buy it at the shop below, after creation you may NOT use this shop to buy items, you must say "I go to a shop" when in a town and see what the people charge.
Weapons: 50 credits:COLP 42 Laser Pistol (3-5 Dmg.) A classic firearm, used by most miners as a last resort weapon. 60 credits:COLP 36 Magnum (3-4 Dmg. shoots clean through spacesuits and laser refloectors) it may only use bullets, but it ignores laser reflectors and spacesuits are too weak to resist the pure bullet power. 70 credits: CLAP 50 laser pistol (4-6 dmg.) the most powerful "legally available" laser pistol in the frontier, a favorite among veteran miners. 100 credits:COLPCLAP 47 Laser uzi (2-4 dmg. shoots 2 rounds an attack) a favorite weapon of the "bullet days of weapons" turned laser, deadly at close range ,but terrible at long range. 150 credits: HJKA 35 Plasma Shotgun (7-8 dmg. sears through spacesuits) A powerful weapons, designed for close range only, and designed to burn right through spacesuits. 200 credits: RCA 27 "hellspawn" laser rifle (5-7 dmg.) an advanced weapon, standard issue in most armies, balances range, damage, and shooting speed. 300 credits: RCA 49 Special Purpose Long Range Laser Rifle (10-15 dmg. at long range, 2-4 at close range) a The pinnacle of all long range weapon research, incredible at long range, but pathetic in closer, for 50 more credits it can be equipped with a scope for longer range. 100 credits:Padded Spacesuit (absorbs 5% of all weapon damage, can take 30 dmg. before collapsing) Simply a spacesuit with extra padding, but better than going into battle without an armor. 250 credits: PJ46 mining armored suit: (absorbs 15% of all damage, can take 60 dmg. before collapsing) a suit designed for mining, made out of Therorbium, a thick, durable, light, metal, far better than any spacesuit. 200 credits: Bob Smith's 1 time reflector: a 1 time use reflector that reflects ALL non-bullet damage to the targeted person. 100 credits: medikit (heals 5-10 dmg.) a light, easy to carry medikit, can be used a total of 10 times before it is useless (you must track uses) 150 credits: laser cutter: a tool useful for carving out rock, useless for shattering objects (1-3 dmg. if used in combat). 150 credits: Therobium pickaxe: a pickaxe made of therobium, far better at its job than a normal pickaxe (2-4 dmg. if used in combat) 150 credits: megahammer: a hammer, which despite its large size and intimidating appearance, is not a weapon, but a mining tool designed to break large rocks (3-5 dmg. if used in combat, slow, can only attack once every 2 rounds). That's your choice of equipment, I HIGHLY recommend that you at least buy a weapon, you may want to save up, but once you sell what you mine, you'll get many more credits than what you start with.

I bought that weapon from the shop, hope it's not against the rules.
Med, in an RPG you don't have a physical character. Not if you're the GP. You might try to be different, but I know from experience that it's super boring. One way to do it, though, would be to co-host it with someone else. Then you coul both play
