Well i'll do all the hardwork, if i know people would be interesting, just wondering, in an Oblivion (The Elder Scrolls) style game, it would take place in Tameriel, and probably the Shivering Isles as well, it would take place during the time frame of Oblivion but without the prisoner,

So Tameriel is in chaos without a king, and no apparent heir, Kvatch has been ransacked and still plagued by Daedra, An evil god has risen up again and his henchmen are killing worshipers in their chapels and churches, and a Strange Door has opened up in Niben Bay

I'll work on the mechanics and the sheet if enough people show interest

um... so... this is an RPG? what is a kick-starter? don't you usually just start a game and wait for people?

you don't know what a kick-starter is?

*sigh*

well i started this to get INTEREST in this type of game before i put in all the work, i'd rather not work hours on a flop.

anywho i feel dumb anyways, i misspelled the thread name and accidentally put tameriel then cyrodil

Here's some ideas that could help it get more towards what its aimed for-
1: Map function. This would help a expansive element of the game.
2: Tons of equip slots. (eg rings, boots, armor, leggings, gloves, helmets, shoulderpads)
3: This is kind of obvious, but XP for abilities being gained by using the abilities

okay:

1: Map function. This would help a expansive element of the game

example: player is in the town of (insert town here)
using the map, they can travel to (insert place here)

2: Tons of equip slots. (eg rings, boots, armor, leggings, gloves, helmets, shoulderpads)

you could equip all of the above

3: This is kind of obvious, but XP for abilities being gained by using the abilities

you attack enemies with 1 hand weapon
your 1 hand skills level up

i understand the last two, but the first one doesn't make much sense. you can travel wherever you want so long as you know where it is

Also, i take it you both are interested?

*ahem* Oblivion is the 4th game in The Elder Scrolls series, and is set in the Imperial (read: pure human) kingdom of Cyrodil, after it's emperor has been murdered by a cult worshiping the daedra (read: demon) prince Mehrunes Dagon, Oblivion Gates, which are a portal to Oblivion, which is essentially Dagon's homeworld, open up all over Cyrodil
