Yes, it's a game about a tree. How does it work? Well, first you have a seed. A genetically modified seed that will take the first thing it gets as a template, the next two things as wood, the next two as leaves and one more thing for fruit. Then we see what we come up with.
Let's start.

Imagine... a potato made of coke cans and ketchup with katanas dangling from branches. It's almost a reality, but there's one thing missing: fruit!
Incidentally, I choose the template. The template will be the "trunk" if it looks anything like a tree trunk, but that's no guarantee.

@Nerdsoft: You said in the OP that two items will be taken as leaves, but only one has been taken.

Since the latest object is broken, I suggest Starburst as leaves. Here's an image:

I'd like some devil fruits with that.. Some with dangling characters who have already ate it (devil fruits from one piece)
