I watched Battle Royale. If you watch it with alcohol and friends like I did, it's great fun. It's so bad it's good.

In what way is Battle Royale "so bad, it's good"? There is nothing in Battle Royale to suggest it is a "so bad it's good" movie. It is just a good movie. Battle Royale is a very good movie, a way better version of Hunger Games, which Catching Fire ripped off more than the other movies (the rotating danger zones).

Bridge Of Spies
My second favorite movie this year (after The Martain). I really, really, really enjoyed it despite the fact that I don't really care for Tom Hanks as an actor. Excellent character development, historically accurate in everything (the clothing, vehicles, behavior, etc...), and intellectually engaging.
8.9/10

The way the plot makes no sense, the huge number of continuity errors, the low quality of the acting, the sudden introductions of characters who add nothing to the plot, the massively over-the-top violence, the weird obsession with crushes... it's a mess. A daft, fun mess that's a great laugh to watch. I'd certainly rather watch that again than The Hunger Games, which is merely dull.

The book is good, the movie is a mess.

a way better version of Hunger Games

Are people really still comparing these two movies? Hunger Games rips off the American Revolution FAR more than it does Battle Royale. And the only comparison it has to BR is kids killing kids. Tbh you have a better chance at calling BR a rip off of Lord of the Flies

Saw Peanuts Movie recently. Can't really say much as it really has nothing more to offer than being a homage to the old movies and comics, which it did really well.

Off topic, but looking at how you guys react to certain movies....geez you guys have bad taste lmao Pleb taste as possible

The Green Mile. The story was good, the acting was OKish, and emotionality was a little bit over the top. 6/10

Watched Spectre today. Typical James Bond movie although considering the fact that I haven't watched the previous Bond movies apart from Casino Royale (which I've already forgotten how it goes since it was quite some time ago) some of the references flew right over my head. The action was quite nice though. 7/10

I just watched Avengers: Age of Ultron. It was okay, pretty mediocre, nothing noteworthy beyond your generic Marvel movie. Fun to watch, but that's pretty much it. This movie does have some funny moments at the end and the special effects are good, but the acting sometimes is awkward and the movie follows the typical Marvel movie formula too much. Also, Ultron fails to provide a legitimate threat to the Avengers and is just a disappointing villain in the franchise. One last note: Quicksilver. More disappointing than Ultron. Terrible casting choice, uninspired dialogue, an even worse accent and he cannot match the sheer awesomeness of Evan Peters' Quicksilver.
Avengers: Age of Ultron: B-

Wedding Crashers. The whole movie is a cliche itself.

Pulp Fiction

One of the classics I hadn't watched, so I had to catch up...I think it is a bit overestimated. Though generally good, it is neither as funny or as good action film as I thought it to be.

Still, it is perfectly enjoyable

Frankenstein's Army

If you want to see a choppy, incredibly gory just for the sake of incredible gore, low budget, asinine, and irritating horror movie shot exclusively on a smartphone, then this is the movie for you. It also made me mad when I realized that I had wasted two whole hours watching this thing. I'm going to go ahead and give it a 1/10 rating.

Collateral - Starring Jamie Foxx as a taxi driver and Tom Cruise against type, as a contract killer who takes the taxi driver hostage in order to assassinate 5 people.

It is excellent in its type, a great action movie. Recommended definitely if you like action films

Creed is the next movie in the Rocky Balboa series however it works as a nice standalone apart from a few references to the previous movies (which I have not seen as I was not expecting it to be part of the Rocky series). Anyway, it is quite a brilliant movie and I will have to say the music fitted quite well with the scenes they were played in. Anyway, the camerawork was quite brilliant when it came to the boxing matches and it gave you a front view of the action up close and personal. Anyway, I rate this movie about 8/10.
