I'm getting banner ads above and below the flash window and I've noticed this on two separate games by two different developers in a row. I've also noticed that they seem to be circumventing my (otherwise perfectly functional) adblocker. I've had a lot of trouble with ads in the past (of the "virus-back-door" variety), and I'm not sure if I can continue coming to AG if this isn't addressed.

I was under the impression that having an account with AG was supposed to get rid of ads.

None of our ads have viruses. We don't support ad blocking on out website, as it's the reason the site exists.

First at all, hello, I am an user with a little problem. Well you know the adds are kind of slowing down my games considerably, (I like to play StormWinds here, but the adds slow my flash player to unbearable levels), TLS dead zone is fine, but still slows down in missions with big maps. I know that's the case because I tested playing with adds and without through some other website containing the game, or downloaded the game to play it offline, but now you only get the expansion in armorgames.com! I am in a dilemma here. As a solution I suggest the games are 100% compatible with adobe flash player and that they meet certain requirements to play them smoothly, Because it cannot be that I need a gaming PC to play StormWinds, a game with less bytes than my geology project!

Sounds to me like an issue with your general comp.'s capacity, not necessarily to do with ads. Yes, e.g. "big maps" will be more demanding on your system, obviously.

A game's load, incidentally, isn't expressed just in its volume; it's not as simple as fewer bytes = less demanding, or vice versa.

Not that I'm aware of, no. Perhaps some (?)

And here I was thinking that the reason the site exists was to let people play good flash games. Silly me.

No, I know what you meant. But as one who has no control over what is blocked, the GoogleAds/YouTube thing was the final straw. Without an eventual bypass, you can see how one can jump to the conclusion that I joked about. Want of money....it's what turns a site from using ads to keep the games up, to using the games to draw people in to see more ads. -_-
