I believe that corn is the correct answer (Made into popcorn) but I think that an egg is technically a correct answer, so long as you just throw away the yolk. That's the problem with riddles like that, they can have two possible answers, when you are only looking for one.
Corn! You take off the leaf covering it and then cook it. Then you eat its outside (the seeds) and throw away the inside (the cob).

You find yourself in a room. All the walls fase the south. You can hear outside a bear trying to break in. Then you see a wierd gun, with a clock like thingy, with the names of every bear race which exist. A note near it say "oibt the poibter to the wanted animal, and it will only stun that spesific race".
