I can't beat X5; apparently you need to charge ALL the nodes? So, what, 100% on all of them? I guess I'm so good, the last 3 don't get touched unless I move the killgem... (hahahaha I'm not so good!)
I think I am to stupid for this game. I'm level 41 and have 5 levels to play but I can't beat them. First wave mobs are just passing by my towers and destroy my orb. So I guess I am doing something absurdly wrong! Do you have any tips for me? I would appreciate it.
@Arkeyo: This game is supposed to be very hard and challenging even for the most dedicated GemCraft fans. It's even more challenging without premium content, but it is 100% doable for the quests. You might need to backtrack and do previous levels on different difficulties to get xp and move some stats points around as well as trying different strategies. You might need to farm shadowcores and get talisman pieces. I've been stuck around there before and I think most people do get stuck around there.
@Arkeyo as a lil add to Gantic also try to get achivements, they grant you some points. Do not invest all points you get in stats, leave some "unspent".
"Unspent" they raise your starting mana (allow you to have higher starting gem(s)).
Thanks for your tips. Finally got the last quest. I'm a big fan of tower defence games but I don't like Gemcraft. I didn't like Labyrinth and I don't like Chasing Shadows.
The oldest quest I earned was October 25, I'd say it would have been since then, but not too longs since then, because I enrage a lot of waves. I have the Achievement in game, just not the Quest on the Armor Games page.
I'm pretty sure these quests require you to actively earn their counterparts in-game, so if you already have it earned in-game but not on the site, you have to start a new save and earn it again in-game to trigger the quest.
