I tried a few options to take the screenshot of a game but I did not get the visible portion of the game in it. Please help me by telling me how to take a screenshot of a Game screen with the game seen in it.

@akshobhya The easiest way is to hit "Print Screen", then to open MSPaint, and hit Ctrl+V. Then you can save that file as a JPG I believe.

Is there a good way to take it on Linux? Because I work on Linux most of your time.

Okay, what are the complete set of procedures to be followed to get a screenshot of a game in Linux?

Since I do not run Linux, I must rely on Google to provide the answer. On this page that may or may not be helpful, read the Linux section. If that does not work, Wikihow has several solutions, as does The Geek Stuff.
