So there were old threads about this that were locked because we were asked to wait and see if it got better.

Disqus still doesn't allow post editing most of the time and it still deletes posts. A bunch of people reported this before. As far as I have been able to tell, it really hasn't improved more than a tiny bit since these problems were being discussed a year and two years ago.

Hey there, Erile! I'm sorry to hear you've been having such recurring issues. I'd like to try to help us both get to the bottom of things if I can. I know how frustrating it can be when you've got a problem that needs to be sorted!

What I'd like to ask you to do is please make sure you've got some information for us to start with. People with different browsers and operating systems encounter different things, after all, and if we don't know what you're using our site WITH, it can be hard for us to pinpoint problems. Similarly, if you're using any browser add-ons of any type, letting us know would be helpful, since even innocuous ones can cause conflicts for the silliest reasons. (COMPUTERS!) As nichodemus had asked, if you have screenshots, that would also help. At the end of the day, as boring as it may sound, details are what is going to help us track this down!

Sorry, I didn't see your post as I gave up checking for awhile.

Your response is very confusing to me for a variety of issues... This is a longstanding problem for many people and there are any posts about this in comments sections and in the forums. There are lots of posted screenshots about these problems as well. The previous threads were closed without any help or fixing of the issues and this thread is a re-opening of those previous threads.

So, I am unsure where to go here, since I am asking in this thread for the previous closed threads to be answered and fixed instead of ignored? : /

Hi Erile! Sorry you found my post confusing. While it's true that there are older threads, current information is something that will be most helpful to our tech people as it allows them to see how these issues are manifesting themselves at this point in time, especially since browsers, plugins, and other software aren't stagnant things and continually receive updates. If you are still experiencing this issue as you've said, then providing recent information for me to pass along to someone to work off of is more helpful than digging through older threads, especially when they have someone they can directly work with and respond to if it's an error on our end.

Ok, I will work at compiling this again. For the record, however, the problems are EXACTLY the same as they were before and have not changed. These problems are independent of browsers and other software. (they are also independent of plugins since I don't use any)

So I do not think the old information should be disregarded - especially since the old problems and posts were never addressed in the first place.

@MrDayCee @DoraDoraBoBora Today, I've brought my computer home after few days of fixing it and changing the operative system. I had Windows XP, now I have Windows 7. I've installed and activated Adobe Flash Player again and logged into the site. Everything was working as usual. Games were working as they are supposed to. However, Disqus is not able to load. At all. Loading animation just jams in the middle of loading process and there is not usual "Reload" button to restart the loading.
Can you see what is going on please?

@BalkanRenegades Do you have any private chat tabs open? If you do, close them and reload the page. If there are still remaining tabs, close them and reload the page. Continue doing this untill all tabs remain closed and disqus should load normally.

I didn't see this response. I have never been able to get chat to work on the site. I don't have a chat tab to click on in order to access chat.

Otherwise, my life has been too insane to go back and compile months of posts and corresponding screencaps regarding the disqus problems.

Dude, @Erile, you don't need months worth of documents. All they are asking you to do is tell them what browser you are using and post one or more pictures of the problemy parts.

Fishpreferred, I already answered what you just said they were asking for.

Since this thread was about asking for action regarding hundreds of reports of ongoing problems, and since I was asked to provide evidence regarding that, then yes, I would have to go back through months/years of files/posts to find previously posted/recorded images/posts from myself or others. Alternatively, I would have to spend hours/days replicating the problems and finding the right way to image capture the problems again because they are inconsistent and often based on page failures.

I really do not have time to spend tracking down the many problems that disqus has. And since my past efforts were not rewarded with action, I do not have a lot of motivation to either. I have too much insanity in my life to be worrying about it and was just reporting why there has not been action on my end anymore.

No. You were asked to provide a current example of the problem that is still happening; not something someone complained about pre-2016. Sure, it can be the same issue, but what matters is that you are encountering it now.

1 What other users posted on the matter is beside the point. This is a thread you made about something affecting you.
2 You do know there's a google search bar custom tailored to the AG forums, right? Look up "erile disqus" and it will turn out the following list:

You're making this more complicated than need be. Look:
*If you happen to come across it, do a screencap (print scrn), paste it in a png, and upload it. You can use imgur, photobucket, or whatever; if you want horrible ads plastered all over your screen, use tinypic. If you like your irony, you can drag and drop pictures straight into the disqus message box and it will upload them for you.
*If you don't come across it, why is it even an issue?

Holy moly. I cannot believe your post. Just stop it. You have been asked to stop repeatedly. Stop resurrecting dead posts. Stop trolling. Stop making accusations.
You are taking everything I said completely and posting it completely out of context. You have no idea what you are talking about and even if I did respond to all of your untruths, it would not even matter.
