These quests were very quick to get. To make an investment you have to purchase a computer. Then invest $200 and check back every day until it says you have made $200 profit. Then withdraw the money.

As always, a very nice game from @GoodyPundit. 6/6.

None of the quests was really "hard", as I met the conditions for completing the game as early as the fourth day of life of my second character (and this was my first playthrough, so I had zero experience with the game mechanics). And since my first character was an athlete, I had to continue playing for another sixteen days, what nearly doubled the time to get the last quest. Believe me, I looked for a suicide option, but I didn't find any. :/

Also, after reaching lvl4 as a journalist with my second character, my pay was "increased by -15" (from 40 to 25), effectively cutting my job income in half (as the time required to finish the job rose again). Not really important, since I got another ~400 a day by performing, but... disappointing.

First four quests can be obtained in 20 minutes or less, depending how lucky you are. Last two are not that hard, but require some longer playing.

Anyways, game is awsome, Goody knows how to make a quality game.

For me, the trick was starting with the journalist and working that job to the limits, and then filling most of my spare time by performing in the park. (Getting friends and rare items was important, too.) I ate a lot of leftovers in the cafe and helped clear dishes ... those 5 coins in early game were important!

I cannot do the minigame for the musician at all. I must be all thumbs or something, but that was pretty much a complete disaster for me.

Also, is there a warning for the blank starting point (no furniture, etc.) for the third generation? That messed me up a little bit for my slow playing style ... had to restart the game.

I was wondering the same when I reached G3 as I only had a pair of barbells and a phone in my house, but I think those are the "starter packs" the game mentions. For example, when my first character died and I was creating/registering the second one, there was something like "Starter packs left: 1" written on the forms.
