Do you have any add-ons? Because they mess with AG sometimes, try another browser.

Hello,

I've just logged into the game without any problems. Can you share what OS/Browser you are using? Also please note that this is a Unity game so if you are using Chrome you may need another browser. Chrome doesn't support Unity.

I have tried it with addons turned off and firefox in safe mode. I can load it with no issue in IE but FF just shows a blank white screen. OS is windows 7 and unity is the latest version.

Hey @Sykoect,

Sorry I didn't have a chance to follow up on this before now. Is the page loading up, but where the game should load is a blank white window? Or is the whole page white and you just see some text or nothing at all?

If it's not too much trouble can you mention me via @RavePenguin so that I know that you responded back?

Thanks,

-RP

@RavePenguin

The page loads but the game is a blank white window, sometimes if I wait 5 or 10 minutes it will say trouble connecting to the server.

Thank you

Hello @Sykoect,

I've just tested logging into the game with your account on our end and I couldn't duplicate this. There are a few options that we can still try before I have to ask you to contact the MMO's support team for some more detailed troubleshooting for their game.

You mentioned that you already have Unity 5.5.0 so I'll skip the steps for installing it. The next step that I'd recommend if to have you clear the shared caching data that the player stores on your system to speed up the load times. Please go to the Unity Web Player Settings and locate the "Shared" folder and highlight this. Next, please select the Delete option for Shared. Note: This will clear out the files that were downloaded to speed up loading time for the Unity Games that we host.

Please give this a shot and let me know how it goes.

Edit: Forgot to add a link to the Unity Web Player set up. I just shared the URL before.

@RavePenguin

Well i cleared the shared caching data and still the same thing, when i had gotten in touch with Cloudcade support they couldn't seem to help me or reproduce it. I even thought it might be an issue with my FF settings so I had gone in and tried changing some things there in about:config making sure that all the media players was set to true. Just can't figure out why it won't connect on AG but no other game, including unity games, gives me any problems here...

Anyway thanks for the assistance

I don't know if this makes a difference but when trying to load the thing seems to get stuck at something called checkout.stripe.com

Hello @Sykoect,

Checkout.stripe.com is something that you would see if you were attempting to make a purchase typically. It's the payment processor (like PayPal) that they are using. Do you have a screen capture you can send into support@armorgames.com so I can take a look at what page you are on when you see this error?

Thanks!

Hello @Sykoect,

Going to try and get some additional help with the timeout error as I'm starting to get stumped on what can cause this. Normally I'd suggest that if you are on a WiFi connection to try playing while plugged in to try and rule out any throttling of data on the network. However, you've said before that the game was working fine with another browser so that might not solve it. It is something else that you can try if you would like.

Can you also share the name of the extensions you are using? I can recognize the Amazon and see that AdBlock Pro is turned off. I'm not sure if that is a Monkey or something else to the left, and then a green A (maybe) and lastly it looks like the Flash symbol. Bu I'd like to do a little research on these three as well.

@RavePenguin

The green A is Avast online security and the red f is facebook disconnect. the monkey is greasemonkey which I ran for Dawn of the Dragons but I've had it disabled for some time now. I have tried disabling all addons and extensions and restarting FF in safe mode and that changed nothing. I'm not on wifi on this pc.

Hey @Sykoect,

I've been asking around and it looks like the screenshot alone isn't enough for us to be able to diagnose the cause by itself. One suggestion was that if you are using a proxy or a VPN, this could cause some issues. If you are, you can try disabling your service and see if this works for you.

If this isn't the case, next we'll need to use the Network Monitor to see which request or requests may be having issues.

1. In Firefox, please navigate to the Shop Heroes page on Armor Games so it starts the login process.
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+Q. This will open Network Monitor.
3. Press F5 to reload the webpage.
4. Send us a screenshot of any item with a Status (the first column) of 400 or higher in Network Monitor - these are the requests that are having errors, and will help us narrow down where things are going wrong. Note that you can click the column name (Status) in order to sort them numerically, which will group all the errors together for an easy screenshot.

Thanks for the continued communication and working with us to try and troubleshoot this with us.

Hey @altaltalt12345,

Does this happen with another browser or just the browser you are using? Can we also have the browser and operating system that you use?

Thanks,

-RP
