I had to remake this thread because I was ignored for 2 weeks. The original post with my questions is here. Since I can't discuss the matter in the forums, I sent a message through the contact section, and instead of an answer, I was subscribed to a mailing list without my consent.
Hi there! In response to your first issue about the IP ban, we had a sitewide glitch that resulted in bans accidentally applied to players who had broke no rules. We fixed this as soon as possible and we apologize for the inconvenience! As for the mailing list, we will on rare occasion reach out to players through the e-mail associated with their profile to alert them about relevant matters to the site. Sorry for any confusion!
