last 2 days i've played decision 2, the game leaps to another site and tries to make me download something 'to remove a virus'. since i'm on a network that does not allow me to do that, i end up having to restart the AM portal
I was in the process of checking Decision 2 to see if I could replicate your issue (I couldn't). After your most recent post, though, I'm confident in saying it's something on your end. Based on what you're describing, it sounds like you have some malware installed on your computer that's hijacking your browser.
Personally, I use the free version of Malwarebytes to scan for stuff like this. But you'll definitely need to scan for malware using something. Do it sooner rather than later. Browser hijacking malware can make it very frustrating to download antivirus software. If that's the case, you could try to open your task manager and kill the malware program from there, but it usually has a randomly generated name that can make it tricky to identify if you don't know what you're looking for. Good luck!
It's also possible that an ad is causing this. I believe the way most Google adsense works is that there's basically a pool of ads that can be select to load when a pages loads. I believe Google does their best to vet the ads in the pool to make sure that are safe, but every once and a while a bad ad can get in. I've read more than once that mainstream websites, like Reddit and Kongregate, have redirected users and it was the ad causing it. (For instance this link is very similar to what I'm talking about.)
However, It's also possible that it is something on your end and I would also advise you give your computer a scan.
Had a similar problem to this actually, sent me to a scam site which obviously wasn't trust worthy. While it's worth checking if your computer actually does have malware and junk on it, what fixed the redirect for me was simply getting an Ad Blocker.
We're looking into this issue, continue to update us if you see more of this. If you could include the game that you're seeing on as well, that would be helpful.
