Well i hate types of riddles where they don't give a clue in the riddle itself, makes it less of a riddle and more of a question.

Hmm im thinking about the "ditry soot-smeared" window part....

Well if I am allowed to guess twice then I think that he jumping into the window,landing in the office. Not sure how he would be on the 22 floor though..

was my guess right or wrong?
