theres a shape tool below the paintbrush tool.. it should either be a square or a circle shape. click and hold on it, and select the circle option. then click an drag on the stage

ya, there is a circle tool in flash, hold shift while you draw it to keep it a perfect circle

it still wont work... i dont see a "Circle" or "shape" Tool anywhere. i see a "rectangle" tool, but thats it.

Hold down the mouse on the rectangle tool. It should display four options two of which are circle and two of which are squares. Release the mouse on the top circle. To switch back to rectangle do the same thing but release on the top rectangle.
