Well yeah the real thing isn't out but there isn't a real difference in the beta and the finished one. But it's pretty good otherwise it just that cs3 was missing a couple of things and cs4 has those missing things especially inverse kinematics god that took them long other programs had that for a while now. and jpx111 you obviously arn't in tune with flash cs4 it doesn't have to be 3d to have inverse kinematics and in flash you can do things in 3d and more in the cs4 version.
Well I could believe this if he could show me a link to a place that either has a download of it,or talks about it.That would prove his story to be true most likely, but as of right now I have sever doubts about this.I would just like to see some sort of proof that a BETA exists.
Well kpx111 you can create things in 3-D and use them in a flash game.I think there is at least one game on this site that is a first person shooter. If I need to I can give you a link, but yeah flash is compatible with 3D type stuff.I would suggest 3DS Max though since it is made solely for 3D modeling, unless you are on a really tight budget and just want to make some kind of 3D type image for fun,in which case I would suggest Google Sketch-Up.Anyways I am still waiting to see if he will give a link to this BETA.
Not likely not everyone can beta test flash my friend gave me the copy and he has been with flash for a loong while. I've been with flash since flash 5.
As for CS4, the only buy option available is for preordering the software. If you click "Try", it will prompt you for your email address where it can notify you when the trial version will be available.
That's the problem with twelve year olds, you just can't trust them.
Darkroot, if you seriously believe you have CS4, you were either scammed or are currently breaking the law (it is illegal for people who are beta testers to distribute the beta software to others). Either way, I would remove any trace of it from your computer.
No, Flash does not support any form of 3D. It can simulate a 3rd axis, but everything is on a 3D plane, not a 3D space. You can render a 3D model out to jpgs and import them and play them back frame by frame so as to imitate a 3D environment, but it is very inefficient on large-scale apps.
I'm extremely excited about Flash CS4. I have seen a couple of the new stuff of Cs4 and It seems it will improve the quality of games and videos greatly!!! The 3D thing ain't happening, just Like Dank said "it can simulate a 3rd axis" nothing more!! I looked for it on adobe .com and the price tag is scary!! $700 bucks for it!!!
