It was Tim Berners Lee who was credited with the Creation of the World Wide Web,but there were a lot of things that came before that.Supposedly the United States Defense Department created the first network known simply as ARPANET.If you want anymore info then thats what search engines are for...as well as Wikipedia when its not being abused.
Al Gore! Lol just kidding. ----------- DARPA invented the internet as a way to communicate between stations, and eventually it waas adapted for commercial use.
Well technically speaking it was ARPA,which later became DARPA,but anyways I found a good explanation in a youtube video a while back that gives a visual explanation.
microsoft i think,(MICROSOFT internet explorer........)
I am laughing at your statement.
You must of not been around before the domination of Microsoft and IE. There used to be Netscape. It was the first popularly used web browser. The internet was invented by Tim Berners Lee. Microsoft shouldn't corrupt your brain but it has already.
DARPA invented the internet as a way to communicate between stations, and eventually it waas adapted for commercial use.
Or ARPA was the first internet-like massive network but it was not the internet. The internet is quite different.
