This thread while hold competitions to see which band AG likes the most. You vote on which of the following band is better and why. Then, I will add all of the votes and see which band is better.

@ Google567 I agree with you for American Punk (at least to the extent that people like the dead Kennedy's are a diffferent genre completely) but I always feel British Punk steps up a gear in pure energy...... Plus (for once) it had much more social importance and there was so much more angst in the UK in comparison the Ramones etc. look bored while the Clash look like they want to riot and explode. This isn't a bad thing about the Ramones they are amazing butas far as the pinnnacle of international punk rock goes (for me anyway) they lack something people like the Sex Pistols have.
Looks like this one is fizzing out. If this isn't called soon then I'll do it either tomorrow or the day after (busy schedule doesn't allow me much choice). I've had several good suggestions on my profile, so I'll likely choose one of them.
I listened to the songs you posted in the battle's OP from The Buzzcocks, but they seem to lack something somehow?! I don't know what it is and I can't describe it either... o_0 Sorry Pixie, but The Ramones still get my vote! They simply have what it takes over The Buzzcocks... :S
I believe that's what it is, I'm typing this in a hurry. I think MrDayCee is just clarifying an earlier vote. Either way, the Ramones have a commmanding lead.
Correct ilberic, Pixie asked me to clarify my vote, because I didn't look into the songs made by The Buzzcocks and he was completely right about that... still, it changed nothing about my vote for The Ramones...
Earth, Wind & Fire, "September" is one of the most infectiously catchy songs I have ever heard in my life, I don't normally go for that style of music, but I can dig EW&F!
