This thread while hold competitions to see which band AG likes the most. You vote on which of the following band is better and why. Then, I will add all of the votes and see which band is better.

bullet sucks. dunno Avenged Sevenfold. is it emo music like bullet?
they are a heavy metal band like bullet. and no bullet isnt a "emo" band. but they have similar music styles. look some A7X stuff on youtube. i reccomend anything that isnt off of their last album cause their last album sucked rocks
I'm not a big fan of either band (in fact, I despise them both). But Sevenfold's music is more recognizable out of the two, and they have one song that I find okay to listen to (which is MIA).

My vote is for Bullet for my Valentine. I prefer their melodic guitar style in certain songs and the softer vocals. I find their lyrics have a bit more depth as well.
Then allow me to throw my penny in here before it ends.. Well I didn't know A7X so much, so I listened to a few videos, for example the music vid to Nightmare.. I must say, sick intro, and yay for birdpsiders in the vid but I kinda don't really like the singers voice. I prefer BfmV for they are more melodic, I like the vocals better, they have sick guitar solos as well, and the drummer is great. Just listen to Disappear, it unites all my points in one song
Well, it's a close call. Neither of them are really my kind of music, but they do both have songs that I'll listen to now and again. But I'm going to have to put my vote in for The Killers. My reason is stupid, but at least I have a reason. Their songs are catchy, and Muse songs annoy me sometimes. There you go. Lamest reason ever. >.>
I like Muse. The Killers's "When You Were Young" is one of the awful-est I ever listened to and "Human" is a little too "op"-ish (small pun intended, but...)
Plus, "Knights of Cydonia" is amazingly catchy and very nice to play on Guitar Hero.
Neither band holds a lot of interest for me. They are both, in my eyes, alright. The Killers have had a few more songs that have advanced past the "alright" stage and therefore they get my vote.
