This thread while hold competitions to see which band AG likes the most. You vote on which of the following band is better and why. Then, I will add all of the votes and see which band is better.

RULES
1.You can only vote one time
2.Do not spam (duh).
3.Do not complain if the band you want to win loses

Please keep this clean and I will try to pick bands that people know of.

The first battle will be between....
Kiss and Aerosmith

In the 90's, I would have said Oasis because it's closer to what I was into back then, but today, I vote for Blur because they sound like a more fun band.

Both are alright bands. I grew up in Britain in the 90s so I heard them more than I would have liked to. I always liked Oasis more between the two of them. Reminded me of The Beatles a bit.

I fell in love with Blur's "Girls & Boys" the first time I heard it on the radio. At the risk of basing my entire vote on just one song, it shall be Blur I vote for!

Both bands are nice, but never stood out for me... if I were to base my vote on something it would be the fact that Oasis had two whopping hits with Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger, which clearly win from Blur's Song 2!

So my vote goes to Oasis!! =)

Never was a fan of any of these bands but I will choose Blur because when I first listened to song 2 I fell in love with it instantly. Also I love to play girls and boys on lego rock band. I always liked oasis and never turn back in anger but my vote has to go to Blur this time

Oasis 2-5 Blur

This poll has run for several weeks, and it's time to freshen up with something rather different.

2 Tone was the style of music produced during the British Ska revival of the 1970s, which went onto influence Ska Punk of the 80s and 90s. Two of the foremost 2 Tone acts were:

*Sigh* I leave it for a whole month and only accrue a score of 1-1. I will post a new poll soon, but I'm too tired to think of a good one just now. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Call me commercial on this one, but I prefer Madness for this round. They have catchy songs that make you bump your head the second you hear them! Can't argue with that! =)

As a suggestion... how about... Kaiser Chiefs -vs- Editors?!

Sorry, sorry, a lot of things have got in the way of me creating a new poll. As an apology, there will now be two, yes two whole polls! One main one with bands you might have heard of, and another one with more obscure bands bands you may not of heard of or listened to. (Unless you are very dedicated to listening to everything I post on "Right now I'm listening to...&quot

My votes:

Kaiser Chiefs. Their music is less depressed, and I don't like the voice of the Editors vocalist.

Future of the Left. Protomartyrs music is nice, but their vocalist sounds... uninspired. The other band is much more energetic and their singer is... definitely inspired :P
