What is a ballpark average .swf file size for the games here? I embedded a song into my .swf file and it is now 8 MB. I'm wondering how many songs I can add while maintaining a reasonable download time.
I think it depends on how do you respect players. Usually the sound is heavily compressed so it doesnt add much to the size. This can be done mostly by lowering bitrate and making the sound mono instead of stereo. You may be interested to read this article.
