When your Talkin code, You have to say which version your talking about. Every time, because half the people here dont know the difference.
Say Action script 2 or 3!

Well, isn't that also a bit their own fault? Generally, if someone asks for help with a certain piece of code the version is usually pretty obvious, so others should be able to see that too... and they can always ask, too.
But, on the other hand, you do have a point... if it's unclear which version is needed, I try to write both

they are almost the same but if you give someone a AS2 code unstead of AS3 its not going to work.
