Hi everyone, i just wanted to ask if wen i make a flash game the objects have to be made whit vectorial graphics (made whit the flash prgram) or standar ones (made whit photoshop, and then xport them) because the art tool of the flash its kinda bad compared to the photoshop or corel ones... thanks =).

I'd like to see the answer to this.

I think some people prefer Fireworks to do their vector artwork.

What's stopping you from making your graphics in another program,
and then importing them into Flash?

Yes, you can import both vector and bitmap art into Flash.
Don't be afraid to experiment for yourself. :3

Thanks a lot KGuare i just asked because i didnt know if a bitmap would make the load much longer or make the game buggy...

bitmap would have the least amount of loading required while png and jpeg images would require more

Don't forget that bitmap will often degrade the image. Jpeg does it to some degree but PNG doesn't at all, but is quite a large file size.

Bitmap: Small; Low Quality; Fast load
JPEG: Medium; Medium Quality; Medium load
PNG: Large; High Quality; Slow load

If I were you I'd use PNG for backgrounds, JPEG for stationary objects and bitmap for moving objects.

Actually I'm a master with files. I'm horrible at programming. Most of the threads in here that I post on have to do with files.
