Some people have been asking for programmers or help from someone who knows how to make a countdown timer and so on.

This thread will be intended to act as a sign up sheet for people who need help.

First state what you need help on. Ex: I need some one to help me with my countdown timer, it doesn't work properly.

Then someone would come to this thread and either send you and e-mail, or help you right here on this thread. If you need a programmer, you might need to give your e-mail so they could help you out with the actual game.

I hope this helps and remember Armor Games Forum Rules and Guidelines apply.

If you are a really good programmer please check here from time to time to see if anyone needs help.

Thanks

It is easier to have each person create their own thread for their personal problem so that we can easily identify the threads where a new problem needs answered apart from those that are being discussed and worked on. There is no need for a thread that has the same purpose as the programming category itself for it's trying to shoving everything here in the category into the limited confines of thread form thus just adding unneeded clutter.

However, it could be a nice idea to have one specific thread where we could watch and monitor the progress of projects people here are working on... right now, there are quite a few people with projects, and even though they have their own threads they often get forgotten.

Now I don't mean a thread where everyone can just shout 'omigosh that's so kewl' but one where you keep the replies to simple updates, nothing more.

Just a thought though

Thank you PixelSmash and Dank, all I am trying to do is get a noticed thread that people would check if they felt like helping someone.

Then there could be more people getting help faster.

Hey, due to popular request, I am making a flash game out of my forum game called World of Chaos. Right now I'm in kind of a bind.

Simply put, is there a way I could make a class, "barriers" and make it to where whenever the player tries to move over/onto/through a barrier, it knocks him back? (I know the general code for simple barriers, but it sounds more efficient to make a class as a barrier)

I believe I used this thread properly

I agree with Dank. Everytime I got stuck on something I open a new thread and it has been working perfectly so far.

But PixelSmash idea is also good as a stick thread.

And for Annihilation answer, since I come from Java, I think it's allways better working with classes. OOP is here to help us :-)
