When i X out the page when i am on armorgames, i expect myself to logout. turns out it doesn't. Sooooo my brother was able to spam peoples profiles and stuff. Why can't we logout when we X out the browser. Its a lot easier

if you're really that concerned, there's a little 'logout' link in the upper right corner of the page.

i like not having to login all the time :]

You have been on this site for... how long?

Anyway, agreeing with Graham. I do not share my computer with anyone, so simply staying online is better to me than getting logged out and have to type in my password ever time I have closed down the browser for one reason or another.
Yes, I am that lazy.
If it is a problem to you, then get firefox and get it to erase the cookies every time you close it. That way you will be logged out (and all the data about username and password will most likely be deleted as well, so you will not have to fear for your brother to abuse your site).

As for the case with your brother, kick his butt for being stupid.

I think this is an excuse an a cover up to explain all of the spamming you've been putting out. Of course the X doesn't log you out, it shouldn't. Everyone knows that, and so do you. You're just trying to get us to buy your little excuse.

Well I aint.

What a BAD excuse. You could of just deleted browser cookies. Then you'd be logged out. But, as I expected, a poorly made excuse.

...we all are. None of us want to put that gosh darn password in! UUUUURRGH I hate it soooo much when I get logged out of sites. I'd never come back to AG. Plus I might have forgotten my actual password it's been so long since I have logged in.

Another way you can log out is that you delete cookies from your computer, because to log in AG you need tasty cookies.. mmm..

The reason you stay logged in is because there is a cookie that does it for you.

Yeah, I don't share my computer with anyone, so the function is awesome for me. If you don't have a private computer then yo should simply click the logout button every time or simply deactivate cookies. I don't think we should lose this function simply because some people use public computers. Heck, I think most users on AG use private computers or have their own private account on a computer.

I thought there would be an automatic logout after two days or so. Turns out I was way wrong! I went on vacation without logging off and came back two days later without having to log in.

How, I wonder, would anyone but the users themselves be able to log themselves out?
Again, get firefox, set it to delete cookies when you close the browser, no problem.
Because it would be pretty annoying to the majority of the users if it did this every time you close the browser.

No, it's more like a month or so. Or until the cookie expires (Which is like a year, so don't wait for that).

Yeah, I guess that should happen. Must've been nice: You didn't have to remember your password after your vacation, it was already there!

Bad idea. If you want to log out just hit log out. It's a pain to keep loggin in.

An auto log out is need for people who share a computer. Forgetfulness is common. And you dont want other people messing with your account. All they would need is a check box that says "Always stay logged in" Or "This is a public computer". One will keep you log in always, the other will automatically log you out unless you unchecked it.
Site like Facebook and YouTube have this kind of system. It made to keep your profile save while also being able to use your profile on computer that's not yours.
