I've decided to make a game about traffic. named: Traffic Control(ler) The game is all about traffic, when you begin, you've got to control traffic lights, traffic officers and diversions (accidents and such) Also 911/112 services will be included!
But there is 1 problem, i need a partner to work with, because i'm not a pro in art/sketching.
Skills needed: -Art > (semi-)pro. -Active (Teamwork, if you can't work together, then don't!)
If you don't have any portfolio yet, your not likely to recieve any (serious/good) offers. As a beginner, you'll need to first code atleast 80% of the game before looking for an artist to prove your capabilities. This way you can improve your stand-alone skills before trying to add the difficulty of teamwork to your production and you can build up a better reputation by not quiting out on people because you were not able to provide progress fast enough.
They make any game awesome. Make cars crash, and make them disintegrate. Or bend and pieces fly off. People LOVE destruction. And make the graphics really pretty and realistic.
It'll take a while, but it will be awesome. Trust me. It'll also help you learn advanced techniques in AS3.
@tsl3_needed: Thanks for the tip,.. gonna try this, but since i'm, a beginner, will not be sure that it will be in Traffic Controller, but maybe in Traffic Controller 2....
Can I give you a tip? PHYSICS!!! They make any game awesome. Make cars crash, and make them disintegrate. Or bend and pieces fly off. People LOVE destruction.
