This is kind of awkward, but I'll just come right out and say it: I want to make a game. However, I hate working the fine details of a real game. I have great ideas for games, but they're such a pain. I was wondering if someone would want to make a partnership and could do the dirty work and make a game for me and post it on armorgames. All I'd want in return is that Chuckleluck is noted in the credits. Anyone in?
If you're wondering what kind of game, pretty much like one of those defend the tower with guns games like Elona Shooter or The Last Stand. It would be sort of a modern war game set in Afghanistan, Russia or North Korea. You'd have modern weapons like M4A1 Carbines, M16s, AK-47s and such, but you'd also have WWII guns like MP40s and M1 Garands. You'd have perks (this might rip off Call of Duty) that you could add, like Payday, which gave you extra ammunition for killing enemies, or Fireworks, which would increase explosive damage against the enemy. You'd also have equipment like Claymores and C4, and your little fortress would also have upgrades, like MG42 posts, or riot shields you set up, all the way up to soldiers that march forward with Mini Uzis.
Yep. I've tried GameMaker, and that thing had a virus (I don't know why) so I don't want to download it again. I would make my own, but I really don't want to have the same experience.
Making a game isn't easy. You need your own idea to make a game, and most of the time its hard to make a game with someone elses idea. But if you want to, tell me your idea. Or use game maker. It takes about 2-4 weeks to learn. (Thats a little.).
If you get ideas for a game a lot, write them down in a notebook or something. I know that sounds like what a 4th grade english teacher would say, but it's really useful. One day if you actually become a programmer or become partners with one, you can just use ideas from the notebook. I have one, and it's quite helpful
