Im from Kongregate which I play everyday cos i'm into the whole badge system much akin to XBL's achievement gamerscore and it's alot of fun. Well I'm an artist, love computer graphics and 3d and even coding eventhough it frustratess me easily when it doesn't work. Point is I decided to check out THEIR dev forums and its seriously wack! It's all talk and no play and if they do have something its total crap that my 8 year old sister could do in her sleep.
I seriously want to break into game design and art, maybe learn AS. I noticed 50% of the actual GOOD games come from here so I thought I'd start my venture here.
Any ideas for an artist to find a game company? I dont care if its no compensation and just starting out as long as they are serious about rolling a game out and go from there.
I'd like a flash artist. I actually joined armorgames to find one. I'm making a platformer, and I suck at the artistic aspects of level design. Maybe I could send you the game and you could help me? PS I would like to have vector graphics instead of bitmaps or JPEGs
i really need an artist im planning to make a huge amount of games soon and once im finish with this straught away im on to another game and the only problem is the graphics. i get them off sites(the rifles) or as in the levels make then myself.
Move w/ arrow keys, 'w' jumps and 'e' shoots. You can walljump, shoot while sliding, and at the end there's a neat mid-boss. If you die just reset the game
The best way to find work is to show your talent by making your website or at least an online portfolio. I can't believe how much people are starting threads looking for a job in art and not showing their art.
