Sometimes you can, It depends on what the file is. If it is a .exe file, it can't be converted. Plus, if you want to use a freeware game maker, most likely the game will NOT turn out good. I recommend you just use the free trial of Adobe Flash.
BTW, you can get flash a lot cheaper if you get the student version. It's only $250 last I checked. All the features are still there. The only problem is that you can't legally use it to make money or something like that; I'm not 100% sure what the legal reasoning is
However, if your game gets sponsered, the money you get will easily cover the difference of the student and commercial versions
Last time I checked, the student version was available for college students, which unfortunately means I'll have to wait a few more years to get the discount.
Nope. I got the student version while I was in 8th grade. As proof of identity, I legit sent a picture of myself at the time. It worked; you don't heve to be a college student
