Hi! I have at last decided to change my username on the AG and move to a new account, but I have faced a problem- I haven't received the verification email. I have already sent message to support about that almost a week ago and still no answer. Anyways, this thread isn't about that (I understand that tech support has also many other things to do =) ). I want to make a suggestion which should help people who have got in the same situation as me. It was a big surprise for me when after trying to log in I saw nothing except text saying that my email is not verificated. On most other sites except this text there are 2 more things that user can see. The first of them is the link by clicking on which another verification message is sent (it would certainly help in my case, because I have received password-changin messages from the site, so everything works proper). The second is the possibility to change registration email (I am sure that most of users have more than 1 mail account and I don't know why but messages from some sites don't come on some mail accounts (they don't even appear in the spam folder)).
I hope that those two features will be added, because it would really help new users facing email verification problems.

Cavlery You cant use one email for 2 accounts so I have registered with other address (lol, I have 3 addresses more) =). And I have received message from support already, hope to solve this problem soon. So what do you think about my suggestions?
This is strange... And also pretty annoying because now that username has been taken.
It was a good idea to post this here, though a direct reply to the AG email might have been better (What is the official AG email? I've never seen it, and the one from comment notifications is 'no reply'.).
Are you sure you wrote your email correctly? It seems like what you did wrong...

That's a good idea you have there, and I find it really would help users making accounts: Some sort of a 'retry' button, incase you write the wrong email address. I can't see anything wrong with it except...
If someone gets the verification email and uses it, and you send it again, then stuff might get confusing. I'm pretty sure it won't happen, but you never know...

Check if AG's messages are on your spam list. Usually sites that give you automatic notifications will end up in your spam list, so you should check that.

We are normally quite swift about such responses. However, the person who checked all of those emails has left his position to focus on school. Hence, there was a gap in time between when he left and when someone new started. And I think someone did just start this week. So, it should be all caught up soon and working smoothly again.

But I honestly can't say when our development team will have time to work on adding such features. I will keep it in mind for the future however, so that when there is a little less on their plates they can consider it.
