Iâm,as you can probably tell, making a game. I need some sort of tutorial for making car physics. all i have really gotton for physics was for bouncy balls. and iâm not sure if thy ârollâ down a road or are even able to go up it. along with that iâd need wheels that can change from neutral, park break accelerate and decellerate. with animation of course. iâm just asking for any tutorial you may know of. or any bits of code you think may be applicable for my project. It's a side view racer.
Well, most side view racing games here use something like Box2D, I believe. Maybe a bit slimmed down, removing what you don't need.
Anyway, from what I've heard, it as a bit of a learning curve, but once you're past that, you shouldn't have to worry about the physics at all - just about what you want your game to do. Which is what it's all about Coding is just a way to get the game to do what you as a programmer want it to do!
