Hi, my name's manny6574 and probably most of you who visit this forum would have heard about me. I'm a programmer and developer. I'm a very keen person, when it comes to programming, I enjoy more than most people would. Because of that I know or am learning many languages. I know ActionScript 3.0, XHTML, HTML, CSS, learning PHP&MySQL though at a quick pace. I'm also learning C and C++ but I paused that to work with AS3(ActionScript) and Flash.
I simply want to make games, but there's nothing that keeps me concentrated on it, even though I have quite a set of ideas. I want to gather a team. The team should be made of not only programmers but artists as well, but all have to be nice people to co-operate with. Here, I will ask the pregrammers.
The only requirements to join are that you have to be a nice person, as I said, and that you must know AS3 or you want to learn it with no coding experience. You heard it NO coding experience, but you have to be keen to learn it. I can teach you and help; don't worry.
We will make games and they can be anyone's from our team. Anyone can suggest an idea. But if you're not the kind of idea person, you don't have to! I have some ideas in store as well.
The method of communication in our team can be discussed some options are: email, msn or other messaging system. This aspect is to be discussed with anyone who wishes to join.
Now for the money part, all money shares will be discussed as the case comes up. I, myself will probably not want much, if any at all. Remember, this is not hire, and we are not paid regularly, just a share of the final profit, agreed on every one in the project.
Pretty much our team to be, is a sort of free-for-all team, and everyone can have their say any time!
Also, you do not need to have Flash, there are plenty of free code editors out there, like FlashDevelop, which I might be using myself!

Hey, sounds interesting. I currently use AS2 but I would like to join to get experience with AS3. I have made several short games for my own amusement so I have some knowledge in how layout code well to make it work for you. So mainly I would just need to know the syntax differences between AS2 and AS3 and also learn OOP. I have almost finished all my exams this year so I'll have plenty of time to participate and do some self learning of AS3.
I would say that I specialise in physics based games, as I have knowledge in particle motion, gravity and stuff to do with physics in general (almost all of the games I made are physics based). I'm also an artistic type of person, although most of my work is drawings so I can do backgrounds but probably not animations.
OK that's great part of this team is to help others get into code. I think the current way of communication amogst us is meebo.com: aim, msn, facebook and yahoo in one. And I'll send priderage an email. but keep suggesting.
