Post your playable Crush the Castle 2 maps. There are other threads for talking about CtC2. If it's not good for shooting at or interesting to look at don't put it here: NO castles that fall apart by themselves, NO random junk piles.
I thought it an excellent idea, the simplest are the best. My first (rather lucky)shot took out all but one (the nearest and easiest) king. I would have set a target of 2.
Hey Slagroom to do a link you need to write down the name of your castle, highlight it then click on link above and paste your castle link in the box and click ok. That's it.
Write (or paste) the name of your castle in the submit section. Highlight it. Press Link (blue button above). A box will pop up. paste the url in the box. Click OK. You can still add more text afterwards if you wish.
I was messaging with CourtJester just recently and one thing that came up was the content of the Castles in CTC2 and CTC2PP being offensive and what to do about it. There is no way to detect for nasty castles in flash or anywhere else, so it usually has to be done by hand on our end by searching through hundreds of icons to see if anything looks bad. I try and check up on the shares as best as I can, but sometimes I get bogged down with a project and I end up leaving it unchecked for a while. That's usually when some nasty castles get posted and end up on there for a while.
Now CourtJester was saying that he usually keeps up on the castles in CTC2 "every day", which is way more often than I can. I don't know how many of you out there do the same, but I'd thought I'd check. If any of you guys see content that can be viewed as offensive to some, please come forward with the share link to these castles so I can delete them immediately. Just post them on my profile page, preferably in batches, and I have them removed from the People's Empire as soon as I can. When I've deleted the castles, I'll delete the post so there are no more links to them as well.
I'm not asking to diligently look for them regularly, I'm just saying that if you see a castle that might be offensive please report it. I'm sure down the road sometime we will implement a flagging system so players can flag these bad shares in game and we will just go through the flagged ones a lot easier, but until then, we'll just have to make due with what we have.
I want to thank you guys for creating such an amazing community around this game. It's probably one of the games I'm most proud of.
Got it in two using three stone balls but I can see where it's possible to do it in one.
BTW, concerning Joey's message I've already reported one. Anything that is racist or of sexual content needs to be reported. I know that many people visit this thread and I'm sure we all enjoy it and learn a lot from it so if we want to keep our favorite game fun for everybody, reporting bad things will make sure we can still play for a long time.
They need a spam guy who monitors our messages. Joey is a game builder and shouldn't be hassled with this stuff. But, whatever, with the foundation blocks, I'm sure we will see inappropriate words and symbols.
@timestables - I have no idea how to take that down in one! So, I threw the chicken at it alot!;D
If you use 3 logs: one can set off the higher position on the left, then drop down to set off the one underneath it taking out 2 kings with one log. since you can bounce off the bricks before the drop brick this leaves quite a lot of angles for one to continue onwards. I did not say it was easy.
I guess offensive material should be clarified a bit: * Lewd, phallic, or sexual content. * Racist or prejudiced material * Curse words spelled out in blocks All of these things are considered offensive and are usually deleted. Use your best judgement as well, if it seems offensive then it usually is.
Things that I won't delete: * Your friends castle for being better than yours * Castles that you don't want anymore in your "My Castles" tab * Castles that you don't like in general because that guy said something mean to you when you were younger and he's a big stupid head.
I'm ok with getting them, because I only have to forward them along to our webdevs. It's the webdevs that are working on AG3 that I don't want to spam. If possible, just batch them up, like 2 or more at a time. If that's not possible, just send the offensive stuff anyways and I can batch them up.
