Post your playable Crush the Castle 2 maps. There are other threads for talking about CtC2. If it's not good for shooting at or interesting to look at don't put it here: NO castles that fall apart by themselves, NO random junk piles.
Re - 1 Chicken V 35 Jesters. I don't know why but while duplicating the jesters and spikes, the foundation bricks became movable in the editor, then refixed on settling without changing any code. If I can figure why this happens it could be useful when constructing something complex. Maybe it was the 28 length beam or jester off the left hand end.
Moving the fixed blocks. Ctrl + A will select everything including the foundation blocks. You can only move everything as one, not deselect any parts. You can duplicate, and move the duplicate. So if you have made something complex (but small) like a circle, you could go back to a saved map delete everything except the bit you want to reuse and move and duplicate as necessary.
I talked with the web devs and we may have figured out a solution to spamming the game share likes problem. We are going to be rolling out a build to production pretty soon which should prevent further spamming for future castles.
As for existing castles, the only one I know of that we could tell was being spammed was the 'BOWLING for pins' castle that was sent over to me. Steps were taken to remove the spammed likes and keep the legitimate likes in the system. On the copying claim, it did not seem to be a legitimate copy as we looked at the castle that was claimed to have been copied and it was not identical. Same concept overall, but it would have to be an identical copy to be worth deleting. It's kind of like websites writing a similar articles about the same news.
If you see a castle that you think may have been spammed, send it to me so I can check it in the database. Castles in the near future should have spam prevention on them, but some castles built earlier may still be lingering.
The following was meant to show how my above explanation could be used to easily replicate some useful complex ideas. Luckily I didn't spend much time on this as it all went horribly wrong. All the foundation blocks are meant to be fixed ones. Smilies Brake Trebuchets
The King of Wooden Rock wanted is castle built among and on top of a famous regional rock formation. It took 8 years to build and it'll take 80 seconds to destroy.
