I want to record my games to post on youtube, but I can't find the right recording program to use. I have tried FRAPS and Gamecam, but they dont seem to work for me. Here are the problems:

FRAPS(unregistered)
Pros:
1. Easy to make a whole movie because you just have to
press the record button again to continue recording.
2. Can record games on the internet.
Cons:
1. Limited to about 30 seconds.
2. Low quality (I set my game to max graphics and all I got were blocks that formed shapes.
3. LAGS

Gamecam(unregistered)
Pros:
1. Records at the same quality and speed of the game.
2. Settings adjustable in-game.
Cons:
1. The little screen at the bottom left blocks my view.
2. Limited to about 40 seconds.
3. Once the 40 seconds are done, there is a confirmation message and you cant make the clips seem like one movie unless you pause the game.

Please tell me of other FREE recorders, most of the ones I found at google had to be paid for, and when I added the word "free", I got the same things.

Oh, and if there's already a topic on this, please tell me where it is; and(if there is another one) sorry if you consider this spam. I just really need this video thingy.

Camtasia is the best out there. It's $180 for students and $300 for non-students. Everything else isn't much good.

Why do you keep reviving these threads? I want a free recorder. Not one that costs more money than I've ever had in my hand at once. l0l.

I do not agree with you dank fraps is much better for "real games" and camtasia flash games.
