i went to bash him as soon as he got in range and it connected but with a deafening CRACK as my shield cracked down the center that was one blow! i then stabbed his stomach he was hurt badly but still up he then used the natural curve on his blade to slice deeply into my right shoulder!

OOC: Well...that wasn't exactly a taunt...basically that's traditionally what every gladiator would yell as he entered the arena, and it was directed at the emperor. Nvm.

Anyway, there are 24 of us and three of them...attack the lasso guy first. The majority of us will surround him and just press in, meanwhile about eight of us, including me, will stay out of the surrounding circle and keep the other enemies away until the others can take care of the lasso dude.
