Name: Spartacus Lecumis Age: 21 Class:starting Fighter Weapons:Gladius Armor:large round wooden Shield Allies: Enemies:Gladiator [Sica,Large bronze shield] Health:85/100 Conditions: cracked shield, lacerated right shoulder Perk: sword finesse-knows his way with the sword, thus moving more fluently with it. Bio: born into a small farming family, his parents always wanted him to become a general in the army (as he was very adept at military strategy) but Spartacus preferred the action of actual combat, when he went to join the army, he was refused membership because of his roots, out of pure spite he joined the gladiators.
i went to bash him as soon as he got in range and it connected but with a deafening CRACK as my shield cracked down the center that was one blow! i then stabbed his stomach he was hurt badly but still up he then used the natural curve on his blade to slice deeply into my right shoulder!

Name: Caius Decimus Age: 18 Class: Fighter Weapons: Gladius Armor: Shield[Large, Wooden] Allies: None Enemies:1 Laquearii (lasso fighter) and 2 Galli Health: 100/100 Condition: Healthy Perk: Combat Training[Higher aptitude with all forms of combat equipment] Bio: Born into a family of famous soldiers, Caius Decimus(Caius the Tenth, named after his father, his father before him, his father before him, etc.) was put under enormous pressure and discipline even as a child. Raised under a sword, he showed unerring discipline and skill. However, as he grew older and less susceptible to the brainwashing his family and teachers fed him, he grew less the perfect warrior and son and more of a weakling. His skills did not decrease, but he was seen as a failure due to the mercy he preferred to show his enemies as he grew older, and the idealism he viewed the world with. He was warned it would kill him someday, but did not listen. Finally, at the age of 18, he was cast out and disowned. So instead of following the proud tradition of his family(becoming a soldier) and became a gladiator instead. It was the only choice left to him.
"Ave imperator morituri te salutant!" I yell, raising my sword in the air. Translation: "Hail, emperor, those who are about to die salute you!"

OOC: Well...that wasn't exactly a taunt...basically that's traditionally what every gladiator would yell as he entered the arena, and it was directed at the emperor. Nvm.
Anyway, there are 24 of us and three of them...attack the lasso guy first. The majority of us will surround him and just press in, meanwhile about eight of us, including me, will stay out of the surrounding circle and keep the other enemies away until the others can take care of the lasso dude.

i bang my sword against mah shield and shout a nasty insult, hoping he will charge. if he does charge, counter-charge him at the right moment and run the sword through him.
