So on my game development blog, I,ve been getting lessons from a programmer I met online and posting my notes on it.

Can I get some feedback on my game concepts what I,m learning so far and see if I,m on the right track?

Also, can someone suggest which version of flash for me to download? I don,t which one to even consider at this point.

Yeah seems like you found a pretty smart dedicated person to teach you programming if there no just copying from their own textbook.

But I noticed in one of your note (I can barely read it) you have that strings cannot have number? A string is just basically a sentence you can say anything and it's still a sentence it just you can't do number operation to it. But you can cut, count, convert, splice, add ect.. Make sure you can fully manipulate variables before moving on thought.

Well you probably are learning actionscript 3 so you want one of the Cs (creative suite) versions I would recommend flash cs3 if you don't really want to throw too much money at adobe. The newer version are not much of a difference in the programming aspect. You can also get flex (for free) and do just programming in that.
