Well, here I am once more making a game. My last game flopped simply because I couldn't manage the sheer number of people who signed up, so this time I have a limit. The first five who fill out the character sheet below will be eligible to play. Should someone drop out of play then a new spot will open up.
The Story
You're a soldier in the Imperial Army and the Emperor has declared war on the neighbouring kingdom to the south. As you march on the enemy they fall with ease. Soon the Imperial Army decimates the enemy forcing them to hold up in a fortress of key importance to the campaign. It is now the army's job to take this fortress along with any obstacle the enemy so cowardly hides behind.
Classes
Assassin: You're cunning, quick and silent. Under the cover of night you can sneak into enemy strongholds and wreak havoc. Be careful though if caught in close combat you don't stand a chance.
Marine: You're the grunt soldier of the army. You throw yourself at the enemy in close combat with melee weapons, or take them down from afar with a crossbow or a longbow, you're versatile and well rounded.
Wizard: What would war be without wizards? You're a one man wrecking crew when you dishing out spells from your tomes. Just don't get caught out in the open or you're done. Wizards have access to: Dark, Light, Fire, Wind, Lightning, Ice and Healing tomes.
Sapper: You're a maniac. Somehow, somewhere at sometime, someone developed explosives and you love them. It takes a certain type of crazy to be a sapper. They can build siege engines, siege tunnels, ladders, and even craft more explosives given the right materials. Just be careful with those explosives you can hurt yourself and your own men as well.
Sword Master: You're an elite infantry and able to wield two swords at once. While you may be hard to kill up close and personal you're going to be in trouble when the enemy archers start raining hell down on you.
Equipment
Assassin: 2x Iron daggers
Marine: Iron longsword OR crossbow OR wooden longbow
Wizard: Pick a tome from the list above
Sapper: Iron shortsword and 2x basic hand grenades
Sword Master: 2x iron longswords
**NOTE: You're in enemy territory! Shipments of better equipment will be occasional and the further you go the rarer they become. The way to gain new equipment is to loot enemy houses, bodies, citidels, ect. please note I will determine what you find, if you find anything.
Rules
I control all outcomes in this game. As the game progresses the enemy becomes more and more desperate and their strongholds become hard to take. Please note you cannot be unrealistic in this game. Should this happen I'll simply kill your character off, no second chances. Being unrealistic means saying something along the lines of "I kill all enemies and then take the city by myself." Realistic is: "I engage the enemy aiming for their..." Oh you can die, so please don't be overly reckless. Once you're dead there's no coming back.
Promotions
Depending on your actions in the game, and depending on how those actions affect others, whether they be players or not you can become promoted (at my discretion DO NOT ASK)or demoted (don't complain).
You arrive with your company as the vanguard of the army. As you approach you see the enemy archers lined upon walls that have been left in disrepair. You settle in and strike camp with your fellow Sword Masters, what do you do?
You arrive with the bulk of the army. As you gaze on the walls of Fort Santath you smile inwardly, the defenders look shaky on the walls. You and your fellow marines strike as you finish you notice the sappers running toward the back of the camp. What do you do?
You and a small group of assassins have accompanied the Impirial Army under the Emperor's dirrect orders to assist the sieges to come in any way possible. As you settle your camp you notice the walls are lacking in repair, what do you do?

You accompany your small cadre of wizards to where the rest of the amry regulars have set up your tents. As you settle down to read from your tome you notice a marine captain approaching your encampment, what do you do?
Name: Royce the Valient Sex:M Age:25 Class:Sapper Euipment:1 iron sort sword, 2 grenades Health:100
You and the other sappers are in a rush to prepare for the siege. In fact the sapper encampment hasn't even been struck. Your captain has ordered you and your fellows to a nearby forrest. The army has brough siege ladders with it, so you wonder what this is about. As you near the forest you're handing a saw. What do you do?
I need some info about my spells from my "Healing" Tome, and I will assume command of the Wizard's Cadre (Unless they already have a leader) and greet the Marine Captain.
Right. Healing is very simple, it heals almost anything and everything, so whatever needs healing there's a spell for it. The others I'll let you use your imagination for except for light and dark tomes. Those tomes have only two spells which is basically a burst of raw power. However the second spell is a secret and you must achieve the rank of High Mage to unlock it.
Also guys please include your character sheets.
As an added note those who aren't wizards will also run across all sorts of secrets and surprises depending on rank and their actions.
So everytime we post, we need to repost the characters, or when we are doing a specific action? Thanks for the fyi about the healing. I will prepare with the wizards for combat by studying my spells, but you said the Marines Captain came to our camp? I guess I tell him we are ready for combat and await the signal to rain down support on the castle. (Or is there a more specific reason he needs to talk to us?)
