or start out a classic stumbler (slow, clumsy, but strong and hard to kill)
and you can evolve and learn new skills
this will be while humans are rebuilding and whatnot, but many zombies still walk

Then in the distance, a dot appeared.... it was a bus.As it got closer, they realized with horrow there were zombies crawling all over the outside, and it was swerving back and forth. They immediately opened up on it, to no avail... a bullet hit the gas tank, and suddenly att he same moment the Bus fell into a very fast roll. Fearing for his life, Jack dived into a ditch and took cover... Well unfortunately, he dived right on top of a half-dead zombie, and was bitten...
