You should make the jump higher! Have health bars over enemy, i could never tell when it was going to die. Another thing is to have more maps. I you are adding a story mode. What would be nice is multiplayer but you can leave that out if you have to.

Grenades arnt a bad idea but shooting by mouse is not possible.
it's annoying how they constantly follow you.

Sorry, thats the crappy placeholder ai I busted out in five lines of code :P

1. Put a background in the game (dark purple would look good)
2. Put a health bar above the enemy ( i thought they were invincible!)
3. Spice up the main menu!

Seem slightly vanilla. I would go with more weapons or power-ups otherwise it's just shooting each other to death with one weapon.

What do you need in terms of art. Blocks, characters or backgrounds?

Needs to be slightly more specific. Like are you unhappy with what you already have or do you want other environment. If so then what type.

Not bad! Two things I noticed though (perhaps already brought up before though...)

- ai is kinda annoying, you have to go back and forth a lot to shoot them, you can't shoot them from one point
- it's possible to be shot into the ground, which gives you an advantage since your bullets can fire (placed 1 spot on your side) yet the enemies' can't - they hit the ground. Also, you can get stuck... I had about 47 kills when I got stuck in some ground, so that's not really what you'd want

Pretty normal retro game.
Some things that wound make game better:
1.Life bar over enemies (I hope youa dd it soon)
2.capability to fire when pressing fire button up.It pisses me off, that you need to repeat pressing shoot button, it would be mutch easier.

Add more to the gameplay (different types of enemies that behave in new ways) or change the stage for each level.
Got bored by the third round, so sorry if there is more to it, but the controls were too awkward. Having the UP arrow be jump instead of X would easy the awkward a lot. I personally cannot concentrate on both timing my jumps and spam clicking C to hit the enemies, so dividing those two tasks between hands would be great.
The idea to keep shooting as long as the button is held could also help on that.

Hope you can use this input. Seems like a game with potential, but it still has a good deal of way to go.
