The year is 2012, a war was struck out in the jungles of Vietnam and most of Asia. You were drafted and went through basic training. Your platoon is approached by a Major one day who needs people for a elite commando unit. You and 3 other guys raise your hands. You then are put through vigorous commando training. You are the only person who made it through the training. You are finally sent to registration and then you are set to go into the jungles.
You walk up to a desk in the registration part of the commando HQ wielding a note of verification saying you passed the training. The woman at the desk hands you a clipboard and says, "Congratulations! Please fill this out."
You look at the form and start filling it out.

You finally get word that your are going to be sent into a squad in friendly Laos territory. You gather your weapons and hop on a helicopter or as you have learned to call the transport copters, slicks. You arrive in a commando base. You report to the HQ which is a giant tent in a whole valley of large tents. The Major in the tent directs you towards your platoon's tent. When you get there it is empty. You just sit down on a chair and wait. Eventually a man comes in. He is a Pvt. you ask him what you should be doing. He is very grumpy, but shows you one of three empty beds were you put your stuff and he tells you to come to the mess hall to meet Sgt. Smithson.

You get word that a spot in a squad has opened up in Laos. You hop on a slick, or transport copter, and go to the base. The base is a giant field of tents. You check in at the HQ tent and are sent to your platoon tent. You get there and it is full of people. One man walks up to you and says, "Are you Luke Dunn?" You say yes and he says "Your in a squad with me Pfc. Cosnov. Put your stuff over there." and he points to an empty top bunk.

You are eating lunch when you are contacted that you are going into Laos. You get in around 19:30 and check in at the commando tent camp HQ. You then are directed to the platoon tent. The tent is full of people, most of which are trying to get to sleep for an early day tomorrow. You walk to a table in the middle were some men are playing poker. One of which stands up and says, "You must be the new guy. I am Sgt. Smithson, you are in my squad along with Pfc. Cosnov, and Pvt. James Dunn. Get some sleep we are waking up bright and early tomorrow.
