All right, so I submitted quite a few titles which had no success, such as the Pyromid, but they all seem to be too complicated, they had no success. So this time, I'm going to try something super simple.
High Score! is a gaming challenge in which you choose a game, get a first score, which is called an Ace Score, and hope no one beats you! The rules are divided into clear paragraphs, so it's not confusing.
---KEYWORDS--- Ace Score: The score the player who chose the game set. Those who choose a game must have an Ace Score ready before they announce their game, thus starting the time. High Score: If someone beats the current High Score, that will become the new High Score. You will only qualify for the High Scores if you beat the previous High Score, even if you would place 2nd or 3rd with the score you got.
---THE GOAL--- By being the last to beat the current High Score before the time runs out, you win, and get to choose the next game. If you win or get second or third place, you get points. This game never ends, so the ultimate goal to this game is to become overall first place, and keep that spot for as long as possible!
---THE GAMEPLAY--- In the first round, I get to choose the first game and set an Ace Score for others to beat. To beat my score, you play the game, get a higher score than the current High Score, then post your score. If the score is higher than the very highest other score set so far, it will become the new High Score. When 24 hours have passed since I posted the Ace Score, I will announce the winner(s), deal out points and achievements (see next section), and the round will end. The winner of each round gets to choose the next game, which must never have been chosen before, set an Ace Score, and the next round will start. Play is the same as before.
---SCORING--- Here are all the ways to score points. 1st Place (+05): Get a High Score and never get beaten, or set an Ace Score that nobody can beat. 2nd Place (+04): Get a High Score and get it beaten once, or get your Ace Score beaten once. 3rd Place (+02): Get a High Score and get it beaten twice, or get your Ace Score beaten twice. Ace Joker (+10): Get first place with an Ace Score. This can only be achieved if you set the Ace Score for that round and never got beaten. This score will be added to the first place points, total 15. You Got That Back! (+03): Be the fourth (or more) person in an uninterrupted back-to-back beating chain and win the round. EX: P1: (Ace Score) 1000 P2: 1337 P3: 1338 :P P2: 5678 P3: 9000 P2: OVER NINE-THOUSAAAAAND! P1: Time's up! In this case, P2 gets the achievement and P3 does not, even though P3 was the fourth person in the chain, P2 was the one who won while being in the chain. So P2 gets the achievement. Irritating Pest (+03): Beat the High Score at least 5 times in a single round, but don't place in the top 3. Nice Streak (+04): Place in the top 3 for at least two games in a row. Great Streak (+07): Place in the top 2 for at least three games in a row. Awesome Streak (+10): Place first for at least three games in a row. I Just Can't Do It! (+05): Be very close to 3rd place without reaching it for at least three games in a row. Something to Embrace (+02): Place in the top 3 for the first time ever. A Win on Record (+03): Win a round for the first time ever. At the Better Half: (+05) Win 3 rounds total. Nice, Now Try Losing For a Change (+10) Win 10 rounds total. This is Just Not Fun Anymore (+50) Win 30 rounds total. A Consolation Prize (+10) Get a High Score, but lose by a wide margin for five games in a row. Participation Bonus (+01) Get a High Score at any time in a round without getting any other achievement during that round, or placing in the top 3.
---THE SHEET--- You keep track of your Career Score, High Scores, Games and Wins yourself, I can't keep track of 150 people's scores at the same time! Remove the parantheses (). Remember, you're supposed to post your personal sheet each time you get a High Score or Ace Score!
Player Name: (Your username) <name here> Last Round Score: (Just what it says) 00 Career Score: (All your points combined) 0000 High Scores: (Total amount of High Scores ever gained) 000 Games: (the amount of games you got at least one High Score or the Ace Score in) 000 Wins: (amount of games placed first) 000 Position: (If you're in the overall top 10, your position will show up here.) Unranked
---CHOOSING A GAME--- Here are the rules for choosing a new game: 1. The game must have a clear scoring system without a maximum score. 2. The game must be on Armor Games. 3. It must be possible to lose (no casual games!) 4. No nudity or ultra violence must be in the game. (blood and gore is okay, just not too disturbing.) 5. The game you choose must not have been chosen before in a really long time. EX: I chose Canabalt. That means nobody can choose it again for a really long time, basically until there's not much choice left.
That's all for now. To join, simply get a High Score for the first time. You must use Copy/Paste to make a sheet, just change the username into yours and leave the other stats untouched! If you have questions, simply ask me them! Cheaters will be banned. Banned ppl will show up next to the overall High Scores and their High Scores must be ignored. Update the High Score on below sheet everytime you beat the High Score, or choose a new game..
---===--- HIGH SCORES: 1. NOBODY: 0000 Career Score (x) 2. NOBODY: 0000 Career Score (x) 3. NOBODY: 0000 Career Score (x) 4. NOBODY: 0000 Career Score (x) 5. NOBODY: 0000 Career Score (x)
(will be updated by me every time a round ends. Next to the scores are tokens. (=) means that his spot was left unchanged since the last round, (+) means he entered the high scores last round, (> means he rose in ranks since the last round, (< means he dropped in ranks since the last round, (x) means that the spot is currently unoccupied.)
Oh, and uh, any High Scores you get must have been achieved AFTER the last High Score got set. As long as you're the current High Score holder, you can't update your score.
