i start up the weapons on the ship (this now unlocks weapons and shield stats) and start the shields wait for them to get closer then fire

I get the turrets online of the ship and get to one myself and get reday to blast any Aliens that are coming. If they land I tell everyone to get reday to preform an Ambush
