I strike the Kobold with a lightning bolt (btw, do we have to post our "fight charts" as well, or will it be only you doing that?).
Only I will do that because you don't need to and you might cheat while I won't see (I know you won't cheat but it happens :P)
Oh, and unless there's a set number of fights after which one levels up or you've pre-planned it all, shouldn't we have an "XP: ..." stat?
To Level up you gotta kill the amount of monsters equal to your level. If you are level 23, you gotta kill 23 monsters to get Level 24. If you are level 8, you gotta kill 8 Monsters to get Level 9 and so on.

First, I try to read the letters (if I am unable to, I would like to know why) and then I try to figure out which way is north in the map (unless it has a "compass" on it or it is obvious). Then, I start heading towards the "X".

I'm also into perfectionism but imagine how would your style look like when you have 10 spells...and imagine how mine will look...then you will see the perfect style.

You carefully look at the map but you can't read the letters, but wait, why is W (west) not on the Map?! That explains the reason why S and N are a little bit to the left, this map is ripped off in half! You gotta find the other part...or you can go for the X. your choice.
